This section [53 20 52 N, 1 48 13 W] of the <a title=\"Wikipedia on the A625\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/A625_road\">A625<\/a> was plagued by land slips and was abandoned in 1979.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ph-images.webspace.durham.ac.uk\/index.php\/2008\/10\/derwent-edge\/winnats-pass\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ph-images.webspace.durham.ac.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/10\/PeakD_NewRoad-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"Winnats Pass\" title=\"Winnats Pass\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-4861\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The route was diverted through Winnats Pass [53 20 24 N, 1 47 50 W].
