Finally managed to visit St Mary’s Lighthouse<\/a> when the tide was out and the lighthouse was open!<\/p>\n

View back along the causeway.<\/p>\n

Train on the Weardale railway<\/a>.\u00a0 Like the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway this is another preservation railway, mainline operations on this branch line from Bishop Auckland having stopped in 1993 (after the main industrial customer switched to road transport).<\/p>\n
