Locomotion museum, Shildon, in early February. (L) Timothy Hackworth&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sans_Pareil\"><em>Sans Pareil<\/em><\/a> locomotive participated in Rainhill Trails. In an interesting example of Victorian restoration (as opposed the useful pattern of enthusiastic &#8220;modernisation&#8221;) the locomotive was restored and presented to the predecessor of the Science Museum in 1864.
