The bequest was conditional on the collection being kept together on public display, which has no doubt helped preserve this classic Victorian museum room from “modernisation”.<\/p>\n

The Forest of Bowland<\/a> is scenic part of Lancashire which is largely overlooked by tourists heading to the Lake District or Yorkshire. (L) Slaidburn<\/a> is one of the few settlements of any size. (R) View towards the iconic Pendle Hill<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Not the best way to end the weekend, with the car written off by a not-so-careful Audi driver.<\/p>\n
