(Top left) The oddly named Lincoln&#8217;s Inn Bridge across the Lune. Thought to date from the 17th C, it is sufficiently robust to still handle a major road! (Top right) and (bottom left) heading north along the banks of the Line and (bottom right) heading under the Waterside viaduct. As told in<br \/>the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Barry_Cockcroft\">Barry Cockcroft<\/a> documentary &#8220;The Dale That Died&#8221;, all but one of the farms of Grisedale were abandoned by the mid 20th C due to the harsh conditions, as the ruins of Round Ing (bottom) illustrate.
