She died four years later of tuberculosis at the early age of 26.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ph-images.webspace.durham.ac.uk\/index.php\/2009\/10\/bamburgh-lindisfarne\/bamburghlindisfarne\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ph-images.webspace.durham.ac.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/BamburghLindisfarne-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"BamburghLindisfarne\" title=\"BamburghLindisfarne\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-5103\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>View across the tidal island of <a title=\"Wikipedia on Lindisfarne\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Lindisfarne\">Lindisfarne<\/a> towards the Castle.
