The Wesleyan Reform Methodist chapel in Froggatt does not exactly radiate a warm welcome! The Wesleyan Reform Union appears to be a branch of Methodism that split off from the main movement in 1849 in disagreement over the degree of autonomy of individual churches.<\/p>\n

Splendid footpath sign. The Peak District and Northern Counties Footpath Preservation Society is still extant but under the less Victorian sounding name of the Peak and Northern Footpaths Society<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The village of Youlgreave<\/a>, starting point for a walk along the River Bradford and Lathkill Dale.<\/p>\n

Tranquil fish ponds and ducks in the clear waters of the River Bradford.<\/p>\n
