It’s goodbye to my old Olympus zoom camera
Postcard picture from small town (which?) in the south of France.
A typical small railway station in France [45 31 9 N, 4 52 20 E]; here in Vienne, a historic location south of Lyon with its own Roman ampitheatre, summer jazz festival and easy travel to the coast (what more could you want?).
A few photos from a couple of trips to Yosemite National Park (California). Yosemite is a truly spectacular combination of granite hills, waterfalls and lakes. Although the Valley itself is (rightly so) a tourist honeypot, the hills and backcountry are much quieter.
A couple of scanned photos from a hot and enjoyable summer holiday (2000?) being shown the sights of Athens and its surrounding by Dimitri.
The ruins may be 2000 years old, but the Greek sense of ownership is undimmed!
The Church of Panagia Evangelistria, Tinos [37 32 N 25 10 E] – a significant centre of pilgrimage for the Greek Orthodox.
